Weber 6405 All-Purpose Kabob Set Immediately

I really like making vegetable kabobs on the grill to accompany my summer meals, but I really don't like trying to pinch hold of and rotate round skewers to grill foods evenly, especially when the maneuver makes some of the more tender ones (cherry tomatoes, for example) fall right off. Although wooden skewers are relatively inexpensive, it also feels wasteful to throw away charred skewers after every use. The Weber Kabob Set made it onto my wish list pretty quickly, and made it onto my grill not long after that.

The skewers are rectangular instead of round, so any combination of foods stays on easily and can be turned readily. The big, round ends are easy to grasp with a grill mitt or tongs. The skewers are thicker than typical wooden ones, so you have to give some thought to how small you cut your vegetables, but their size and sturdiness makes them ideal for meats. The rack is handy not only for grilling (although the skewers can be laid directly on the grate, if you like), but also for holding the kabobs when they come off the grill.

I have several of the Weber grill accessories, but the kabob set is the one that stays in heaviest rotation all summer long. Well...on second thought, maybe the char baskets Weber-Stephen 7403 Char-Basket Charcoal Fuel Holders, but when it comes to the food, itself, the kabob set is definitely the front runner!Get more detail about Weber 6405 All-Purpose Kabob Set.

Camp Chef TKYC Turkey Cannon Best Quality

The one thing I always dreaded about having Thanksgiving dinner at my house every year was that I never knew how the turkey was going to turn out. I no longer have that problem, unless I buy an unusually large (over 20 lb) bird. I purchased my Turkey Cannon in November 2007 and it helped me make the absolute best, juiciest turkey I have ever made, in about 1/3 less time. My whole family raved about the moistness and flavor of the white meat. I was the obvious choice for Turkey Day 2008 and looked forward to a repeat performance. I made one small error . . . . I bought a huge 25lb turkey, and it wouldn't fit in the roaster or the oven while sitting up on 'the cannon'. The size limit is the only reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5. Coleman Road Trip Accessory Wheeled Carry Case Get it now!

I love this case. It is easy to move and carry when necessary. It cuts down on the grill rattling noise while transporting. The only slightly negative I found is that you have to remove the grill tote handle in order to get the grill in the case. I just may be job challenged in that area but I just could never figure out how to get the whole thing in the bag. I like the net type pocket on the outside of the bag (it's a perfect place for the grill tote handle).Get more detail about Coleman Road Trip Accessory Wheeled Carry Case.

Weber 7553 Genesis Series Cover Buy Now

I'm thinking that Weber finally tossed the vented cover design after many complaints, although the woman at Webber and the people at ButterflyPhoto still thought they came with vents.

I received my cover from ButterflyPhoto today and it has no vents.

Im assuming that the old vented model has now been flushed out of the supply chain and only the non-vented model is available.

Happy grilling people!Get more detail about Weber 7553 Genesis Series Cover.
