I got one of these as a gift about two years ago. I used it in my BBQ Grill for several weeks until the lid pinched the cable probe. Presto, it was dead. I went to the OS website; typed in the webform expecting to hear that a new proble under warrenty was on the way. Never did. This thing is still laying around the house, so I checked today to see if I could buy a probe; you can!!!!!! Just $12.99 plus 9.95 shipping. Here on Amazon, you can purchase a new/used one for that price.
Too bad, the concept is terriffic and while it worked it was wonderful. OS needs to put some armor on the cable, put two in the box, and make replacements that ship to your door $10.
