These are attractive sturdy skewers, especially for the price. I've cooked a bunch of different meats & veggies on them, and they do a fine job. Even loaded with heavy meats, they don't bend. The ends are sharp enough to easily pierce the food. Because they're flat, it's easy to turn the food.
