Lowest Price Mr. Bar-B-Q 5-Piece Stainless Handle Barbeque Tool Set

As others have indicated, the tools are large......but if you have a decent sized grill, they are just right!!! The tongs work well and the spatula can be used to flip, cut, or tenderize. And they look great. The one negative is that if you don't have a traditional hook (as opposed to a knob) you can't hang up all of the tools. I have a Weber Genesis, and I had to buy hooks b/c my knobs were too large to hang the tools on....except the tongs. If I could change anything, I would include a case.Get more detail about Mr. Bar-B-Q 5-Piece Stainless Handle Barbeque Tool Set.

Discount Weber 7534 Gas Grill Flavorizer Bars

These fit my ancient Webber Grill perfectly, replacing the burned-out, rusted older ones have replaced years ago. There's still quite a lot of flare up as these have not yet been coated with food yet. But the flareup is handled easily by cooking on low heat for the most part.Get more detail about Weber 7534 Gas Grill Flavorizer Bars.

Cheapest Mr. Bar-B-Q Grill Cover, Extra Large

I also have the Blue Ember iQue grill, which proved to be problematic when sourcing a cover for its 80" width. This cover fits perfectly, and has a soft interior lining. It's also a lot darker than the icky light green the product image shows, making it look far nicer in my opinion.Get more detail about Mr. Bar-B-Q Grill Cover, Extra Large.

Cheap Weber 516002 Q 120 Gas Grill

I have used the Weber Q 120, with the optional accessory rolling cart and vinyl grill cover, twice, and I am completely satisfied with it. This portable grill assembles easily (great instructions), and starts instantly by pressing a single ignition button (only one click). It takes about 10 minutes to reach cooking temperature. The grill surface is easy to clean with a steel bristle brush and scraper. Also helpful are the two fold out work tables. In lieu of disposable canisters, I hooked it up to a large 20 lb. liquid propane tank (about $20.00 when filled, at grocery stores and Home Depot) with a Freedom Grill FG-50HA Stainless Steel Propane Hose Adapter. So far I have grilled salmon, chicken, and eggplant with perfect results. After using this, I can't imagine ever going back to a charcoal grill. As usual, Amazon's shipping was on time, as promised. Buy Camerons Products 5-Pound Bag BBQ Chunks, Apple

Great quality pieces of wood for smoking meat. I use a hatchet on some of the larger pieces to get the size I want, as there is a little bit of variance in the sizes of the wood chunks. That is perfect for me, as I use the larger chunks when smoking, and the smaller pieces while grilling. I'll be ordering these again the next time I need wood.

The Pecan smoke itself is great as well. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and it is quickly moving up my list of favorite woods to use. Many consider it interchangeable with Hickory wood chips, but I'd say it is just slightly more mild. Very good flavor overall, and would work well with chicken, beef, fish, and probably cheese. I prefer apple wood when smoking pork, but I'd guess it would work for that as well. Heck...there aren't any rules, so try it on everything!Get more detail about Camerons Products 5-Pound Bag BBQ Chunks, Apple.

Purchase Bradley Digital 4- Rack Smoker

This is my second venture into smoking food. I have enjoyed smoked meats for years but, aside from a "manual" charcoal smoker that we had years ago that I could never get working right, it is the first time I have been able to smoke my own meats. We have already had smoked pork ribs and roast, brisket, and chicken. The Digital Bradley Smoker makes it so convenient and easy.

Being able to use the smoke and heat separately allows us to cook other things besides smoked meats outside during the hot summertime in Texas and keep the heat out of the kitchen. The food cooked in the Bradley has been absolutely delicious and I recommend this smoker to anyone thinking of buying a smoker.

I also purchased a Maverick RediChek Two Probe Remote Thermometer that allows me to read the smoker and meat temperatures from inside the house, and that was a great addition to this purchase.Get more detail about Bradley Digital 4- Rack Smoker.

Where To Buy Old Smokey Electric Smoker

I bought this product after reading so many good reviews. I cannot explain why so many people like it, but after 4 months of experimenting and tinkering and producing food my family will not eat I do not. I have decided to buy the Weber 721001 Smokey Mountain Cooker 18-1/2-Inch Smoker instead.

The old smokey electric is not a real smoker, because it is sealed there is no air flow past the meat,no combustion oxygen, and no place for steam to go. This results in the following problems:

The smoker will produce a tiny amount of smoke that will supposedly stay in the can to flavor the meat, then then it will produce no more, as all the oxygen will have been consumed, this smoke will eventually condense out into the bowl due to all the steam that invariably forms and will not penetrate the meat.

Over time creosote and tar will build up on the inside of the can, the steam produced by cooking mixes with this horrible tasting soot, and then impart the flavor to the meat. The first few things I made were OK, but over time the taste steadily degraded, this may explain some the positive reviews. They may not have used it as much or as long as I did.

The meat will not form a crispy outer layer (" the bark") that is a critical part of smoking. The steam washes away most of the rub you put on the meat and leaves a rubbery skin.

The meat will not seal, as the meat cooks the juices that would normally be kept in by a crispy skin will be squeezed out into the bowl, resulting in meat that is dry inside. You could sear it yourself first, but this would completely block out any smoke from possibly getting in the meat.

There is no online user group or recipe book for this smoker, you are on your own with recipes. The ones that come with it are completely wrong. You cannot cook a brisket by cooking it for 20 minutes a pound on high as the recipe book says. Ultimately I think this its biggest downfall. If you buy a smoker, buy one with a big user community that can help you.

If you really want to steam meat with a tiny bit of smoke you can do this yourself in the oven, just put some wood chips under your broiler pan and put your meat on top and you have created your own old smokey, or you can do it with something like the Cameron Cookware Gourmet Mini Smoker, or you can do it like they do it on the food network show "iron chef" with a "hotel pan", you don't need to buy this to do that.

In the end mine is but one review and you will need to look to places other than the overly positive Amazon reviews to make your decision:

Search the web for "amazing ribs" "virtual weber bullet" and "bbq source forums"

After reading through these you will learn that others have tried and failed with the old smokey electric, you will learn about what true smoking really is. You will find a massive following for the Weber Smokey Mountain (WSM) with loads precise details and recipes. Yes the WSM a little more expensive, but its a lot cheaper to buy the right smoker the first time, than it is to buy the wrong one first, and then buy the right one like I did.Get more detail about Old Smokey Electric Smoker.

Shop For Wizard BBQ Brush Replacement Scrubbers

All of these negative and 'bogus' posts are from the inventor who is trying to pull sales to his own competing product which is double the cost and has 5% of the sales volume.
These scrubbers were the ones most recently tested by Cooks Illustrated and were rated HIGHER than the inventors smaller double scrubs as the larger scrubber is more effective and lasts longer. The brush itself is essentially the same except for plastic handle (which is dishwasher safe) vs. wood handle (which ages quickly outdoors) and the plastic handle version costs only $10.99 vs. $22.50 on the inventors site. These posts by the inventor are the scam! He has granted Barr Brothers the right to produce and sell the brush and receives royalty payments. Dont be fooled by a con artist! Weber 7510 Igniter Kit

This igniter is a direct replacement for the original one, which was still working but the 'gas catcher' part was rusting away. I replaced it just as a preventative measure. One thing though -- check your local stores and see if they offer this part. Sometimes you can find parts for around the same price locally and you don't have to pay shipping. But if you're already ordering other things from Amazon anyway, pick this part up too for the good price and free shipping.Get more detail about Weber 7510 Igniter Kit.

Charcoal Companion CC5004 10-Inch Bamboo Skewers, Package of 100 Top Quality

Hey for the price I loved these things. Bought a ton for use in the upcoming tailgate season. I would buy again. The 10-inch size was a must-buy for me as they fit a container I have for tailgating and the 'regular' 12 inch skewers do not, so I am very happy to get this quantity and at this price, plus it was Amazon Prime eligible, always a bonus.Get more detail about Charcoal Companion CC5004 10-Inch Bamboo Skewers, Package of 100.

Weber 6417 All-Purpose Summit Drip Pan, 10-Pack Order Now

When I shopped for grills, one thing I noticed was poor grease catching design, even in the $5,000 grills (sorry, I don't WANT to use kitty litter in my high-end grill). Weber got it right, I just wish the Weber dealers would know that these pans exist, Amazon is the only place where I could find them. BTW, it may not say so, but this pan fits all the current Summit grills, both 4 and 6 burner models.Get more detail about Weber 6417 All-Purpose Summit Drip Pan, 10-Pack.

Multi-Purpose Lighter Decide Now

==> From an engineering perspective I believe they break so quickly, because there is a plastic part inside the tip of the lighter, which melts (right where the flame exits). If you light something holding the lighter upside down (for example: lighting a bunch of tea-lights sitting in deep glasses), then this plastic gets hot and melts. If you do it long enough the plastic in the tip starts sizzling, melts, and eventually even catches on fire, so be careful. Smells pretty bad, too. I believe the function of this little plastic part is to hold in place the gas exit nozzle and the spark jump wire. Once it melts, the spark does not jump any more, or the gas flow is obstructed, and the lighter does not work any more. In my opinion, this plastic part in the tip should not be plastic, but ceramic to withstand the temperature, and the insulation of the spark jump wire should be made from Teflon for the same reason. All the plastic close to the flame can actually be a fire hazard & health hazard. But I guess they use plastic because it's much cheaper to manufacture them that way.

Long story short:
==> Use flame pointing up, or lighter will die quickly.
==> Besides the issue above, not a bad lighter.
==> I read all the reviews and warnings, but still purchased 2 of them, returned 1 so far.
==> Lighters came empty, had to fuel them up, which worked well.
==> Push-button I find not as hard to push as everybody says, but hard enough to be child-prove.
==> Once fueled, lighters worked well (as long as you don't melt the plastic inside the tip; see above).
==> Flame adjustment wheel works well.
==> Nice shape, looks good

=========================================================
OK, received the replacement quickly, good service. But they shipped it in a soft envelope, so I think it took some beating during shipping and broke through the middle, where the black plastic part joins the metal casing. So I epoxy'ed it back together, works fine now. So bear in mind that this is not really that strong of a product with a few reliability flaws. Otherwise works fine. Not a bad lighter.
