I had my first one for about 3 years before the plastic gasket broke. Without it the gauge cannot seal onto the tank. It cannot be replaced by any store that I checked locally or online. Still, I love the product so much I bought a second one. This time I'll be more gentle when handling it so as not to destroy the gasket again.
